General Authority for Care of the Two Holy Mosques Declares Hajj 1445 Operational Plan a Success

Makkah: The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques announced today the successful execution of its operational plan for the Hajj season 1445 AH. It said this achievement reflects the dedication and tireless efforts of the authority’s personnel who ensured a smooth and fulfilling Hajj for all.

The plan prioritized creating a seamless and comfortable experience for pilgrims.

Upgraded Facilities and Services:

High-quality infrastructure improvements included advanced cooling systems, enhanced audio-visual systems, and door systems for efficient crowd control. Additionally, services catered to all age groups and those with disabilities, featuring electric vehicles for circumambulation (tawaf) and Sa’i on the Grand Mosque’s rooftop, alongside well-maintained washrooms and ablution facilities.

The authority ensured the constant and effective operation of these services and systems throughout the Hajj period, guaranteeing a faith-filled environment for pilgrims. The focus exten
ded to ensuring the consistent availability of Zamzam water for pilgrims.

The general authority prioritized enhancing the pilgrim’s journey through exhibitions that showcased the historical significance of the two holy mosques and the available digital services. Additionally, educational content deepened religious understanding. Pilgrim libraries offered access to diverse Islamic knowledge, while guidance services provided answers to questions, sermon translations, and the translation of the Arafah sermon into 37 languages.

These successful efforts resulted from the close collaboration between various entities serving the two holy mosques. The collaboration reflects the unwavering commitment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, to ensure the well-being and spiritual fulfillment of all pilgrims visiting the holiest sites in Islam.
