International, Islamic News Agencies’ Representatives Visit Prophet’s Mosque, Historical Sites in Madinah

Madinah: The Saudi Press Agency Commission (SPA) is working on establishing media partnerships with major international and Islamic news agencies to cover the 1445 Hajj. As part of this effort, representatives of international and Islamic news agencies visited the Prophet’s Mosque and several historical sites related to the Prophet’s biography.

During their visit, the representatives were treated to a unique and immersive experience. They toured the Museum of the Prophet’s Biography, where they had the opportunity to view various exhibition pavilions covering aspects of the Prophet’s life. They also experienced the panorama of the Noble Prophet’s Chamber, which provided detailed information about the construction and development of the chamber until the Saudi era.

The exhibition also featured a visual technical display on modern screens, including a simulation of the noble Prophet’s pulpit and its history through models and smart interactive screens. Additionally, the exhibition showcased the Kingdom’s ef
forts in serving the Holy Quran, the Sunnah, and the Two Holy Mosques.

The media representatives also visited the exhibition of the Prophet’s Mosque’s architecture to learn about its various sections, highlighting its architectural aspects. The exhibition included modern technologies such as interactive screens providing information related to the Prophet’s Mosque, the TV Film Center, and a cinema screening hall telling the story of its architecture.

Moreover, the representatives saw a special hall for valuables containing rare possessions and ancient artifacts from the Two Holy Mosques, and preserved ancient artifacts. They also visited the Prophet’s Mosque landmarks, including the pulpit, mihrab, domes, canopies, doors, Adhan, muezzins, minarets, and squares.

The visit concluded with a tour of Quba Square, where the representatives learned about historical landmarks such as Al-Ghamamah Mosque, Abu Bakr Mosque, Ali bin Abi Talib Mosque, Quba Castle, and Quba Mosque.
