Iraqi Pilgrims Gather at Abu Ajram Center, Ready to Leave after Having Performed Hajj


Sakaka: Iraqi pilgrims have arrived at the Pilgrims City in Abu Ajram Center, Al-Jawf Region, after having performed Hajj, and are now heading back to Iraq.

The center provides a range of services, including hospitality, accommodation, healthcare, and volunteer support, all overseen by Al-Jawf Region Governor and General Supervisor of Hajj in the region Prince Faisal bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, in collaboration with various government agencies, like the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, the General Authority of Endowments, the Municipality of Abu Ajram, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice, the Ministry of Health, Al-Jawf Health Cluster through field clinics, the Saudi Red Crescent, security agencies, and volunteers from non-profit associations in the region, such as the Hajj and Umrah Services Association.

The city has received 5,500 pilgrims passing through the region; they were provided services by all entities, including given
food, water, and healthcare.

Al-Jawf branch of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs also distributed copies of the Holy Quran as a gift from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
