Islamic Affairs Ministry Distributes Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Gift to Pilgrims Leaving via Salwa Border Crossing


Dammam: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance has distributed over 2,540 copies of the Holy Quran as a gift from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to pilgrims leaving the Kingdom through Salwa border crossing with the State of Qatar.

The ministry’s branch in the Eastern Region will continue distributing the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Gift at the Eastern Region’s borders with the Gulf States, as part of the ministry’s plan to distribute over 41,740 copies printed at King Fahd Holy Quran Printing Complex. The copies are available in various sizes and contain translations of the meanings of the Holy Quran in over 76 languages.

Several departing pilgrims expressed appreciation for the care and attention given by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and for the facilities, services, generous hospitality, and farewell gifts.
