Riyadh: The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) achieved significant success during the Hajj season of 1445 AH through 40 initiatives and services aimed at facilitating the pilgrims’ journey and ensuring their comfort and safety.
One of the most notable initiatives was the “Children’s Hospitality Centers,” which provided a safe and comfortable environment for 177 children in 22 centers across Makkah while their parents performed Hajj rituals. Additionally, more than 1,000 volunteers contributed approximately 130,000 hours to assisting pilgrims in Makkah, the holy sites, land ports, and bus stops, distributing over 470,000 meals and 50,000 gifts.
To support seasonal employment, the ministry’s “Bab Ajeer” platform connected 16,840 workers with more than 880 businesses, while the “Seasonal Visas” service issued over 42,853 visas for various professions.
Furthermore, the MHRSD participated in emergency committees, conducted five programs and workshops, supervised four shelters, and carri
ed out over 655 field inspections to ensure compliance with regulations.
These efforts reflect the ministry’s commitment to providing the highest level of service to pilgrims, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030, and enhancing the overall Hajj experience for the pilgrims.
