Tirana: The President of Albania, Bajram Begaj, received the Speaker of the Saudi Shura Council, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, at the Presidential Palace in Tirana today. Sheikh Dr. Al Al-Sheikh was leading a delegation from the council on an official visit.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Albanian President welcomed Sheikh Dr. Al Al-Sheikh and his delegation. He praised the strong relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Albania and their progress in various fields. He also expressed appreciation for the support provided by the Kingdom and thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and HRH the Crown Prince, for all the Kingdom’s efforts that have been provided to Albania, noting the great support provided by the Kingdom on development projects for Albania in various circumstances.
The Albanian president commended the significant development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, emphasizing its impact and portraying
it as an example of progress and transformation under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince.
Sheikh Dr. Al Al-Sheikh, in turn, highlighted the level of relations between the Kingdom and Albania in various fields and the efforts to strengthen them. He also mentioned the Kingdom’s development and renaissance under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince through the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 in various fields.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the Kingdom and Albania and several issues of common interest. The Saudi Ambassador to Albania, Faisal bin Ghazi Hifzi, and other officials also attended the meeting.
