Two Palestinians Martyred in Israeli Army’s Shelling in Central, Southern Gaza

Two Palestinians, including a child were martyred on Friday after the Israeli occupation army pounded east and south of the Gaza enclave. And two martyrs’ bodies were recovered east of Rafah city.

Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) quoted sources in Gaza as saying that the Israeli artillery fired shells into the civilian houses in the Al Zaytoun neighborhood, east of the enclave, leading to the martyrdom of a child, adding that a Palestinian was also martyred after the Israeli gunboats fired shells into the port area near Khan Yunis south of the enclave.

The Israeli army’s fighter aircraft targeted Palestinian homes in Deir al Balah in the central enclave, injuring many civilians, with the civil defense and rescue personnel confirming that they had recovered two martyrs’ bodies from the Saudi neighborhood, west of Rafah in the south of the enclave.

The unprecedented Israeli onslaught has continued from sea, land and air since October 7, taking the lives of thousands of martyrs, wounded and missing people, alo
ng with a massive devastation of critical infrastructure. The aggression caused an unprecedented humanitarian cataclysm in the enclave, due to bringing supplies of food, water, medicine and fuel to a halt.
