under the supervision of the leadership of the Yatta region and its suburbs, the ceremony of handing over and receiving the letter of assignment of the Umm Qasah Village Council, headed by Muhammad Ibrahim Al-Atimin, was held. The ceremony was attended by Major General Nabil Abu Qubaita, the region’s secretary, Rateb Al-Jabour, the official in charge of the popular resistance file in the region, and the local government delegation headed by Engineer Rashid Awad, the director of the directorate, and the accompanying delegation, as well as representatives of governmental and civil institutions and a crowd of residents of the Badia region. The letter of accreditation was handed over to the head of the council.
The Minister of Local Government had previously issued a decision to form the first village council for the village of Umm Qasa, so that the residents could obtain services that would enable them to withstand settlement
