Manama, Bahrain Garden Club held a ceremony to honour the winners of the 58th Annual Flower and Vegetable Competition.
Shaikha Maram bint Isa Al Khalifa, the National Initiative for Agricultural Development (NIAD) Secretary-General, attended the ceremony.
In her speech, Zahra Abdulmalik, Bahrain Garden Club Chairperson, expressed her appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad bin Al Khalifa for his support of the club’s activities and voluntary work, and raising environmental and agricultural awareness in Bahrain.
She hailed the support of Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and NIAD Advisory Board Chairperson, for the club and the Annual Flower and Vegetable Show and her keenness to developing agriculture in the kingdom.
Shaikha Maram bint Isa honoured all the winners from different categories in the contest and congratulated the winners, wishing the other participants success in future competitions.
