Ambassador Fatima Abdulla Fares Aldhaen, Chief of Afro-Asian Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs met with Lotay Tshering, the Prime Minister of Bhutan on the sideline of their visit for the 2nd Cycle Review on the implementation of United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC).

The Prime Minister of Bhutan praised Bahrain’s advancement and development in all fields, and wished the Kingdom further success and prosperity.

Ambassador Aldhaen expressed Bahrain’s keenness to enhance ties with Bhutan in all fields as well as the advancing of cooperation to benefit the two countries.

She reviewed the accomplishments of Bahrain during its Chairmanship of the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) from 2021-2022, in addition to highlighting Bhutan’s active role during its membership in the ACD.

The meeting spotlighted topics of common interest and development on the regional and international scene.
