Qatar’s A Jaish Beats Muscat in Asian Handball Championship

Doha , November 11 (QNA) – Qatar’s Al Jaish defeated Sunday Oman’s Muscat 33-22, in the second round of the 15th Asian Handball Club League Championship 2012.
 The win cemented Al Jaish position at the top of Group C, they will meet with Group B’s second-placed team, Lebanon’s Al Sadd. Al Jaish missed out on the chance to take a top four spot. Al Sadd have defeated UAE’s Al Jazeera 31-29 to seal a date with Al Jaish. The match will be played on Tuesday in Al Gharafa sports club.
 Qatar’s Al Rayyan’s handball team reached Saturday the semi-finals of the 15th Asian Handball Club League Championship 2012 after defeating Saudi Arabia’s Mudhar 27/25. It will meet with Kuwait’s Kuwait in a vital match later on tonight.
 The tournament is hosted by Doha and will end on Thursday November 15. (QNA)
