Chinese stocks plunge again

Beijing, Rabi’II 18, 1437, Jan 28, 2016, SPA — Chinese shares fell for the third consecutive day on Thursday, continuing weeks of volatility, dpa reported.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index opened lower, then plunged further in the afternoon to close down nearly 3 per cent at 2,655.66, the lowest in over a year.
The Shenzhen Component Index was down 3.61 per cent by the end of the day, while the ChiNext Index, which tracks China’s NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, dived 4.56 per cent.
