Former US manager Bradley aims to restore confidence at Swansea

London, Muharram 6, 1438, Oct 7, 2016, SPA Bob Bradley says his first task as Swansea City manager is to restore confidence to the club, dpa reported.
The former United States manager held his first press conference on Friday since taking over from Francesco Guidolin.
“We’re a team that has had a little bit of bad luck and lost a bit of confidence,” he said.
“Sometimes when results go against you and you lose a bit of confidence, little things slip away from you a little bit.
“And now maybe there’s moments when there’s got to be a bit more confidence. “At the beginning with the group I told them ‘you guys know how to play football, I’ve seen you’. But now we need to find a little confidence and get better again.” Bradley said he expected his appointment to add more than a few US fans to the Welsh side, who sit just above the relegation zone in the Premier League.
Bradley, who left his job as manager of French side Le Havre to take over at Swansea, said he was excited about the challenge.
“I know I’m at a club with a soul, that has real passion and real fans,” he said. “That for me is special, as well as being in the Premier League where you get challenged at the top level.” But Bradley said any talk of being a “pioneer” as the first American to manage a Premier League club was wide of the mark.
“I’m not an American manager, I’m a football manager,” he said. “There’s not one person in Swansea who could care less about America.”
