Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), Sameer Abdulla Nass, has affirmed the depth of the solid friendship relations between Bahrain and China, praising the steady progress of bilateral ties, in light of their shared keenness to strengthen them and open up wider horizons for them.
He asserted that China is a reliable and strong commercial and economic partner to the Kingdom, adding that the two countries enjoy close relations that cover most fields, as reflected in the volume of joint investments and bilateral trade.
He indicated that the volume of the Bahraini-Chinese economic relations is growing steadily, which reflects of the historical bilateral relations, and achieves their common strategic visions.
Nass was speaking while receiving here today the Chinese Ambassador to Bahrain, Ni Ruchi, with whom he discussed topics of mutual interest.
BCCI chief stressed Bahrain’s keenness to enhance aspects of economic cooperation with China in all fields, emphasizing the importance of strengthening joint cooperation to attract more Chinese investments to Bahrain.
He indicated that the investments will contribute to increasing the volume of bilateral trade exchange and boosting tourism.
The two sides shed light on practical initiatives to strengthen joint trade relations and increase bilateral investments, especially in renewable energy-based industries, educational services and other main sectors.
Ambassador Ni Ruchi affirmed his country’s keenness to strengthen its friendship relations with the Kingdom, stressing his interest in bolstering bilateral cooperation to achieve common goals.
