On its first day, the Riyadh International Book Fair organized a seminar shedding light on the Chinese culture and discussing the enhancement of the friendship bonds between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and China.
The seminar discussed supporting cultural and political relations and promoting intellectual communication between the Arab world and China.
Chinese professor Xue Qingguo, the editor-in-chief of the Arabic version of China Today newspaper, highlighted the significant progress the Kingdom is witnessing in all fields.
He praised the Kingdom for opening its doors to friends from all over the world, achieving societal progress, and providing opportunities for new generations.
The Chinese academic also hailed the Kingdom’s efforts to diversify its sources of income, turning the country into a “paradise on Earth” and commending Saudi Vision 2030,
He praised the collaboration between the Kingdom and China and the attention given to the Chinese language.
He emphasized the importance of enhancing the distinctive Saudi-Chinese historical, cultural, and political relations and cooperation.
