Riyadh: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s condemnation and denunciation of the approval by the Security Ministerial Council of the Israeli occupation authorities to expand blatant settlement activity in the West Bank.
The ministry stated that the Kingdom firmly rejects the continuous Israeli violations of international law and resolutions of international legitimacy. It also cautioned about the severe consequences of the practices of the Israeli occupation authorities, given the lack of international accountability mechanisms. The ministry said these transgressions undercut the prospects for peace and exacerbate conflicts, destabilising regional and international security and stability.
