A delegation form the Foreign Ministry paid a visit toe the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) in Jordan.
The delegation included Human Rights Affairs Department Chief Ambassador Dr. Arwa Hassan Al Sayyed and Arab-African Affairs Department Chief Ahmed Ak Tarifi.
They held a meeting with UNRWA Director of External Relations (DER), Tamara Alrifai and Senior specialist of the Foreign Relations Rami Adwan and discussed the vital role of the UNRWA in supporting refugees and launching initatives and projects.
The delegation reiterated Bahrain’s unwavering supporting to the Palestinue issue and the inalienable rights of the Palestinian refugees, based on the Arab Peace Initiative and othe international resolutions.
