Health Minister Dr. Jaleela bint Al Sayyed Jawad Hasan today received Indian Ambassador Piyush Srivastava and discussed joint cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting was also attended by Primary Healthcare Centres Chief Executive Officer Dr. Lulwa Rashid Showeitar.
The minister noted strong bilateral relations and steadily-growing cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of India, especially in the health sector.
The two sides discussed aspects of joint cooperation as well as coordination to exchange expertise and promote training. Issues related to health developments were also discussed.
The Indian ambassador stressed partnership between the two countries, noting joint efforts to further cooperation in the fields of health and medical sciences.
