Islamic Affairs Ministry at Al-Batha Border Crossing Welcomes over 1,800 Pilgrims during Dhul-Qidah

Dammam, The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, represented by its branch in the Eastern Region, has welcomed more than 1,800 pilgrims from various nationalities arriving through Al-Batha border crossing between Dhul-Qidah 20 and 27.

Miscellaneous educational and instructional booklets were provided to guide and educate pilgrims on Hajj rituals. The printed materials and e-cards totalled more than 5,085 copies. Additionally, QR codes were distributed to pilgrims for download onto smart devices, which included key applications to assist them in performing Hajj, such as the Rushd application, which offers all necessary services for Muslims in 52 languages.

The ministry also delivered 32 lectures, sermons, and lessons and responded to pilgrims’ questions. Moreover, eight associations distributed over 5,000 gifts to pilgrims.

These services provided by the ministry for pilgrims are part of a comprehensive plan by the Kingdom to serve pilgrims, following the directives of the leadership to harnes
s all resources and capabilities to care for, guide, and educate pilgrims.
