Mina: The Public Prosecution has unveiled an advanced version of the TURJUMAN tool to enhance communication and expedite investigations during the Hajj season 1445 AH.
Launched by Attorney General Sheikh Saud bin Abdullah Al-Mujib last Ramadan, TURJUMAN facilitates the simultaneous translation of interrogation sessions, testimonies, and witness statements in over 140 languages and dialects. It also boasts real-time voice-to-text conversion capabilities.
This advanced version incorporates 12 specialized AI models. These models excel in context-based translation, accurate text analysis, language and dialect recognition, and legal terminology translation. It also features voice recognition, speech recording with text conversion, and functionalities that optimize investigation reports and decisions.
TURJUMAN streamlines criminal proceedings for the Public Prosecution, representing a significant step towards procedural re-engineering. It operates with high accuracy, safeguarding the rights of all parties involv
ed in legal cases, including victims, defendants, witnesses, lawyers, and others. By capturing statements in their native languages following legal protocol, TURJUMAN upholds individual rights and facilitates swift criminal justice.
