Qatar beat Hong Kong in U-23 Asian Volleyball Championship

Naypyidaw (Myanmar), Qatar volleyball team on Thursday secured their first win in U-23 Asian Volleyball Championship in its third edition, after beating Hong Kong 3-1 in the city of Naypyidaw (Myanmar) which is hosting the championship from August 3 to 11, with the participation of 16 teams.

With this victory, the Qatari team managed to secure their first win in the championship after losing four consecutive matches, against Pakistan 0-3, against China Taipei 0-3, and against Bahrain 0-3.

The Qatari team is scheduled to take on New Zealand today in the placement round.
