QFA Organizes Two Training Courses for Football Coaches

Organized by the Qatar Football Association (QFA) in cooperation with the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and attended by 50 participants, the activities of the two training courses for football coaches for levels (A) elite and (B) were concluded at the headquarters of the QFA’s Development Department.

A number of current coaches and former players, including Khaled Jabarti, Walid Mohieddin, Abdel Ghafour Murad, and Hilal Abbas Talib (candidate from the Lebanese Football Association), participated in the ‘A elite’ course, with a total of 26 attendees.

While the ‘B’ course witnessed the participation of the former assistant coach of the first Egyptian national team Mohamed Shawky, and the stars and players of Qatari clubs: Al Rayyan player Mohamed Jumaa, Al Khor player Jasser Yahya Madani, Al Sailiya player Saad Hussein Al Sawan, Abdullah Ayesh, and Abdullah Haj Madibo. The number of participants in the course reached 24.

In his closing speech to the participants, Director of the QFA’s Development Department Fahd Thani Al Zaraa stressed coaches’ important role in the development process and raising the level of the game. Coaches are the main element in the development process and are the cornerstone of the player development process in general, he added.

He praised the fruitful cooperation between the AFC and QFA to upgrade the training cadres, expressing his thanks and appreciation to the AFC for supervising and the QFA for organizing the courses.
