QSE Gains 60.71 Points at Beginning of Thursday’s Trading

Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index gained 60.71 points at the beginning of Thursday’s trading, or 0.60 percent, to rise to the level of 10,183 points, compared to Wednesday’s closing, with the support of various sectors.

The stock exchange figures attributed the positive performance of the general index to the increase of the telecommunications sector by 1.35 percent, the real estate sector by 0.90 percent, the transport sector by 0.73 percent, the bank and financial services sector by 0.50 percent, the industrial sector by 0.44 percent, the consumer goods and services sector by 0.39 percent and insurance by 0.22 percent.

At 10:00 am, QSE recorded transactions worth QR 73.524 million, distributed to 35.604 million shares, with implementation of 2,733 transactions.
