Amman: Saudi Ambassador to Jordan Naif bin Bandar Al-Sudairi yesterday bid farewell at Queen Alia International Airport in Amman to the first group of pilgrims of the State of Palestine, performing this year’s Hajj under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Guests Program.

One thousand male and female pilgrims are the families of the martyrs, prisoners, and wounded Palestinians.

Ambassador Al-Sudairi said that Palestinian martyrs of duty, prisoners, and wounded deserve this paternal attention from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and it is part of the government’s continuous and generous support for serving Islam and Muslims in general and the brotherly Palestinian people in particular.

He explained that this gesture towards the pilgrims of Palestine who are hosted every year at the expense of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques
confirms the deep relations the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques has with his fellow Palestinian people.

The ambassador underscored the Saudi government’s keenness on fulfilling the aspirations of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in serving the pilgrims and ensuring their comfort from the time of their arrival in the Kingdom until their departure and arrival to their home countries.
