Saudi Foreign Minister, US Secretary of State Discuss Ceasefire in Gaza

Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah spoke by phone on Saturday with the US Secretary of State Antony Blinken to discuss the proposal declared by the US President Joe Biden to reach a prisoner swap deal between the Israeli entity and Hamas and end the war in the Gaza enclave.

Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah expressed Saudi Arabia’s support for all ceasefire efforts, full withdrawal of the Israeli occupation forces from the Gaza Strip, providing urgent humanitarian aid to civilians affected by the Israeli escalation and ensuring the return of displaced people safely to their homes, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs underscored the importance of seriously handling each proposal that achieves durable ceasefire and ends the suffering of the Palestinian people in Gaza.
