Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Shura Council Chairman, received Shaikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Ambassador to Bahrain.
The chairman affirmed the historical ties and the growing Bahraini-Emirati relations under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, United Arab Emirates President.
He pointed out that the Bahraini-Emirati partnership covers various sectors.
Al Saleh commended the UAE role in supporting stability, security and peace in the region, in accordance with the values of brotherhood, tolerance and coexistence among all.
The ambassador praised the levels of cooperation and the remarkable progress of both countries.
He expressed his appreciation to the two leaderships for their keenness to consolidate bonds, and pushing them towards more achievements and successes.
