Syrian citizens in occupied Golan renew adherence to Syrian real-estate documents of their land

The Syrian people in the occupied Syrian Golan permanently show their firm stance through their commitment to their land and rejection of the Israeli occupation hostile measures, though of the Israeli suppressive practices against them to tighten the noose on them and forcing them to leave their lands with the aim of seizing and Judaizing their lands, and replacing them with the settlers.

The Israeli occupation’s schemes to Judaize the Syrian Golan, and to make features, demographic and geographic changes in it have started since its occupation, 56 years ago, when the occupation destroyed 131 villages and 112 farms and perpetrated the most heinous massacres against its people.

The occupation also has displaced 131,000 out of 138,000 of the population in it, while 7,000 of them remained in the villages of Majdal Shams, Masada, Baqatha, Ain Quniyah and Ghajar, where their number reached to 25,000 by the end of 2022.

The Israeli occupation’s attempts to seize the Lands of the people in occupied Golan did not stop under the pretext of that their owners are not existed, ignoring that the occupation is the one which forced them to leave their lands, despite of that they have documents in the Syrian Real Estate records that prove their ownership of these lands.

In 2009, as it did in 1992, the Israeli occupation reattempted to impose its documents on the Syrian citizens in occupied Golan, but they categorically rejected it and thwarted the occupation’s attempt, voicing adherence to their Syrian identity and documents.

They also stressed that all the occupation’s measures in the Golan are rejected and null and void because it is an occupied Syrian land which should return to its motherland which is proved by dozens of UN resolutions that were issued since its occupation in 1967, on top of which, the UN Security Council’s resolution no. 497 for the year 1981 which provides that these measures are null and void and have no legal effect.

Recently, the Israeli authorities repeated its attempt for the fourth time, in the lands of Masada and al-Mahames area, where they threatened the citizens to seize the lands of those who reject to hand over the Syrian real-estate documents, but the Syrian citizens also renewed their rejection to hand over these documents, and they confirmed that any documents issued by the Israel occupation are illegal and not accepted, but it is an attempt to Judaize the land.

The struggle of the Syrian citizens in the occupied Syrian Golan continues and their determination to continue this struggle is firm until liberating every inch of its land supported by the Syrian State which permanently affirmed that the Golan is a part of its land that would return to it, it is a firm right that does not subject to relinquishment or prescription.
