The Ministry of Education opens the Hamza Al-Ajjawi School in Qabatiya

On Wednesday, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education opened the Hamza Tawfiq Al-Ajjawi Basic School in Qabatiya Education, with funding from Bashar and Bashir Al-Ajjawi, sons of the late Hamza.

This came with the participation of the Minister of Education and Higher Education, Dr. Amjad Barham, the Governor of Jenin, Major General Kamal Abu Al-Rub, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry, Dr. Nafee Assaf, and Head of the National Center for Measurement and Evaluation, Eng. Jihad Dridi, and Director General of Buildings Eng. Wissam Nakhleh, Director General of Qabatiya Education Ahmed Jarra’a, Director General of Jenin Education Salam Al-Taher, and representatives of national, community and official institutions and bodies, families and educational staff.

This school will serve about 300 students, and contains 8 classrooms, vital facilities, a scientific laboratory, a computer laboratory, and courtyards.

In this context, Barham conveyed the greetings of Prime Minister Dr. Muhammad Mustafa attended th
e audience and thanked the donors, then praised the efforts made to complete this scientific edifice, considering that the commitment of its contributors is an expression of the spirit of loyalty and belonging to education, stressing that the Ministry will spare no effort to continue providing everything that will serve children and students, build modern schools, advance education, and stand in Address the challenges ahead and focus mainly on the school environment; As an integral component at the heart of the educational system. Barham also thanked all the teachers who played a prominent role in completing an academic year that was not without difficulties as a result of the occupation practices and the difficult financial hardship.

In turn, Governor Abu Al-Rub conveyed the greetings of President Mahmoud Abbas to the attendees, praising the keenness of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and its cadres to build schools and pay attention to the process of development and confront the challenges a
nd obstacles resulting from the occupation, stressing that the message of science and education is paramount and represents a foundation for establishing the foundations of an independent Palestinian state.

In his welcoming speech, the mayor of Ojja, Shaheen Omaria, praised the efforts made in building this scientific edifice, pointing out the importance of community solidarity and the integration of its role between the public and private sectors, and continuing to build schools and support education.

In the donors’ speech, Talib Al-Ajjawi praised the efforts of all supporters and those keen on education, stressing the continuation of the process of giving from the people of the town to support education.

In his speech, the school director, Shaddad Gawadra, stressed the importance of effective participation in building the nation, especially through education, praising the donor’s efforts in the school, which will provide services to students and ensure the improvement of education and its quality.
