UAE Ambassador meets President of Guyana

His Excellency Saleh Ahmed Alsuwaidi, Non-Resident Ambassador of the UAE to the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, met with His Excellency Dr. Irfaan Ali, President of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, in the presence of His Excellency Bharrat Jagdeo, Vice President of Guyana, in the capital, Georgetown.

His Excellency conveyed the greetings of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai to His Excellency President Irfaan Ali and their wishes for his country and people to experience further progress and prosperity.

For his part, His Excellency President Irfaan Ali reciprocated the greetings to UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and expressed his wishes for the UAE Government and people to experience further development and growth.

For his part, His Excellency praised the successful participation of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana in Expo 2020 Dubai, which contributed to strengthening the relations between the two countries to broader levels, especially in the economic and sustainability fields.

During the meeting, they discussed ways to develop bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields, as well as a number of files of common interest.
