Weather Forecast for Thursday

The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued its daily forecast report for the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The report expected medium to heavy thunderstorms that lead to torrential rains, accompanied by active winds and showers of hail, in parts of the regions of Najran, Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, and Makkah. It is not excluded that fog will form on parts of the heights of those regions. At the same time, the opportunity is still ripe for rainy thunderclouds preceded by active winds that raise dust and dust, limiting the extent of horizontal visibility in parts of the regions of Eastern Province, Riyadh, Qassim, Hail, and Medinah.

The report indicated that surface winds on the Red Sea are northwesterly to westerly, at a speed of 12-32 km/h, reaching more than 45 km/h, with thunderclouds forming in the southern part. Wave heights from half a meter to a meter up to more than two meters with rainy thunderclouds will be in the southern part, and the sea condition will be light and wavy with rainy thunderclouds forming in the southern part.

The report added the movement of surface winds over the Arabian Gulf is north-northwesterly at a speed of 15-45 km/h on the northern and central part and southwesterly to westerly on the southern part at a speed of 15-38 km/h, and the wave height is from one to two meters, and the state of the sea is medium to wavy.
