ZATCA Continues Efforts at Customs Ports to Receive and Serve Pilgrims

The land, sea and air customs ports have continued their efforts to receive and serve pilgrims coming to the Kingdom with integrated capabilities focused on managing the customs services system with high efficiency.

The Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has outlined its operational plan for the Hajj season, aiming to streamline entry procedures for pilgrims upon their arrival in Saudi Arabia and foster seamless cooperation with relevant authorities serving pilgrims. The Authority is committed to unifying efforts and ensuring integrated operations to enhance the quality of services provided to pilgrims while maintaining strict customs control. By leveraging state-of-the-art security technologies at land, air, and sea customs ports, the ZATCA is determined to prevent any attempts to exploit the Hajj season for smuggling activities that could potentially harm the country and its resources.
