Ventura: A small plane crashed into a residential neighborhood in Southern California, resulting in the death of the pilot and causing damage to two homes, authorities reported.
According to Qatar News Agency, the US Federal Aviation Administration confirmed that the pilot, who was the only person on board the plane, died at the scene. The crash occurred when the fixed-wing aircraft collided with two structures in the area, leading to fires in both buildings.
The Ventura County Fire Department stated that both homes were occupied during the crash. However, all residents were safely evacuated, and no injuries were reported. The fire department added that both structures sustained damage due to the incident.
