Ramallah: The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population announced that 16 people were killed and 28 others injured in a preliminary count following a bus accident on Wednesday on the Dahab-Nuweiba road in Al-Saada area of ??South Sinai, Egypt. The ministry explained in a statement that 20 ambulances were dispatched to the scene of the accident, and the injured were transported to hospitals to receive necessary medical care.
According to Qatar News Agency, the incident occurred on a major route connecting key tourist destinations in the region. Emergency services responded quickly to the scene, with medical teams providing immediate assistance to those affected. The cause of the accident is currently under investigation by local authorities.
