Gaza – Ma’an – At least 16 citizens, including 9 children, were martyred at dawn on Sunday, as a result of raids carried out by Israeli warplanes and artillery that targeted many homes in the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.
In the latest events on the 198th day of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupation army bombed several areas in the Strip, causing martyrs and injuries.
Local sources reported that 8 citizens, including 5 children and 2 women, were martyred in Israeli raids on two homes in the city of Rafah.
Also, 5 citizens, including 4 children, were martyred, and others were injured, in a bombing that targeted a house on George Street, east of Rafah.
Earlier tonight, 3 citizens were martyred, as a result of an Israeli raid that targeted a house in the Shaboura camp in the center of the city of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Medical sources in the Gaza Strip explained that a citizen, his child, and his pregnant wife were martyred as a result of an Israeli raid that
targeted a house for the Joudeh family in the Shaboura camp in the center of Rafah, and a number of others, most of them children, were injured in the occupation aircraft’s bombing of their house in the camp.
In this context, the Civil Defense announced that it had recovered the bodies of 50 martyrs who had been buried collectively by the Israeli occupation forces inside the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis.
Medical sources had announced that the death toll in the Gaza Strip had risen to 34,049 martyrs, the majority of whom were children and women, since the start of the Israeli occupation aggression on the seventh of last October, while the death toll had risen to 76,901 since the start of the aggression, while the Thousands of victims under the rubble.
