Team Qatar to participate in Asian Men U19 Handball Championship

MANAMA , Bahrain – Qatar’s youth handball team delegation arrived in Bahrain on Thursday to participate in the 9th Asian Men’s Youth (U19) Handball Championship, which will run from 20 -31 August in the Bahrain’s capital city of Manama.

Team Qatar delegation is headed by Qatar Handball Association Assistant Secretary General, Mr. Khalifa Al Jassim and consists of 16 players along with technical and administrative staff members.

2022 Asian Men’s Youth (U19) Handball Championship is a qualifying tournament to 2023 IHF Men’s Youth World Championship in Croatia.

Deputy Director of MoFAIC’s Dubai Office receives credentials of Consul General of Kuwait

Mr. Rashid Abdulla Al Qaseer Deputy Director of MoFAIC’s Dubai Office met with H.E. Ali Salem Al Thayedi, Consul General of Kuwait in Dubai and received his credentials.

Al Qaseer welcomed the Consul General and hailed the political, economic, commercial and investment relations that bind the two brotherly countries, wishing him success in his duties.

Shakhboot bin Nahyan meets President of South Africa

His Excellency Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State, met with Cyril Ramaphosa, President of the Republic of South Africa, in the capital Pretoria.

HE Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan conveyed the greetings of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, to President Ramaphosa and their wishes for his country and people to achieve further progress and prosperity.

For his part, President Ramaphosa conveyed his greetings and best wishes to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai for the people of the UAE to achieve further growth and prosperity.

HE Shakhboot bin Nahyan discussed with President Ramaphosa ways to develop relations between the UAE and South Africa and strengthen them in various fields of common interest, particularly in the economic and investment fields.

On the other hand, HE Shakhboot bin Nahyan visited the Nelson Mandela Foundation and was briefed on the Foundation’s projects and programs, including the Mandela archive restoration project, which was supported by the UAE, and supervised by the Embassy in Pretoria, in coordination with the Foundation.
