Firemen are exerting huge efforts to put out fires erupt in Syrian Coast

For the 4th day in a row, the fire brigades are exerting huge efforts in order to control the fires broke out in northern Lattakia countryside, under difficult conditions imposed by the geography of the land, the rugged terrain and the speed of wind.

The civil defense teams, Directorate of Agriculture and the fire brigades from several provinces participate in extinguishing fires.

The US occupation brings in new weapons to its bases in Hasaka countryside

In order to fortify its illegal presence in Syrian territory, the US occupation intensified its movements, especially in al-Jazeera region, violating international laws and principles, as it brought in during the past 24 hours weapons, ammunition and logistical equipment to its bases in Hasaka countryside.

A convoy of the occupation consisting of 30 large tankers guarded by armored vehicles raising the flag of the American occupation, and another belonging to QSD militia associated with it, coming from Iraqi territory, entered the city of Al-Shadadi (60 km south of Al-Hasakah) from the east, and its contents were unloaded at the occupation base in the city before heading to the city of Hasakah through the western entrance on the Kharafi road , special sources told SANA.

The sources quoted eyewitnesses belonging to the QSD militia as saying “the load of the convoy that was unloaded at the base included advanced medium weapons, including anti-armored weapons, modern communication and jamming systems, in addition to large quantities of ammunition, including several containers intended to support the QSD militia.

Ongoing efforts by firefighters to control fires in Lattakia northern countryside

For the 5th day in a row, the firefighting teams continue their great efforts to control the fires raging in various regions in the northern countryside of Lattakia.

Minister of Local Administration and Environment, Eng. Hussein Makhlouf, Minister of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform, Hassan Qatana, and Lattakia Governor Amer Hilal follow up on the operation of the fire-suppression on the ground.

Teams from civil defense, agriculture and fire brigades from several provinces, supported by units of the Syrian Arab Army and helicopters, participate in extinguishing the fires.

Syria files its Legal Contribution to International Court of Justice on Practices of Israeli Occupation in Palestine

Syria has file its legal contribution with the International Court of Justice (ICJ) on the practices of the Israeli occupation in the occupied Palestinian territory and the legal consequences emerging from that , reiterating its full support for the Palestinian people and their right to self-determination and the establishment of an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.

“From standing of principled and firm support of the Syrian Arab Republic for the just Palestinian cause and in the context of its continued support for the diplomatic and legal movement led by Palestine in order for the brotherly Palestinian people to obtain their freedom from occupation and their enjoyment of their legitimate historical rights and the establishment of their independent state and Jerusalem as its capital , Syria has deposited with ICJ its legal contribution in the case of the court’s advisory opinion on the legal consequences arising from the policies and practices of “Israel” in the occupied Palestinian territories” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in a statement to SANA .

The Ministry added that Syria reaffirmed its full support for the Palestinian people and their right to self-determination and the establishment of their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.

The ministry stressed that Syria has been and will remain at the forefront of supporters of the Palestinian cause and will spare no effort to end the Israeli occupation of the occupied Arab territories, including the Syrian Golan.

Education Ministry, Norwegian Refugee Council ink MoU

The Ministry of Education signed a memorandum of understanding with Norwegian Refugee Council for cooperation in the aspects of rehabilitating schools and training educational cadres.

The memo inked by Director of Planning and International Cooperation at the Ministry, Ghassan Shugri, and Director of the Council (Andres Gonzalez Rodriguez), including cooperation in the aspects of maintenance and rehabilitation of schools, providing school bags and stationery, and implementing of training courses for teaching and administrative cadres.

The memorandum was signed in the Ministry’s building, and also included cooperation to provide compensatory lessons for students of the basic and secondary education certificates, health awareness campaigns, support for adolescents to engage in vocational education, and the provision of psychological and social support.

His Majesty King of Malaysia receives UAE Ambassador on the occasion of the end of his tenure

His Majesty King Al Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al Mustafa Billah Shah of Malaysia, received His Excellency Khalid Ghanim Alghaith, UAE Ambassador to Malaysia, at the national palace on the occasion of the end of his tenure as ambassador to the country.

His Excellency Alghaith conveyed to His Majesty the King of Malaysia the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai; and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, as well as their wishes for further development and prosperity for the government and people of Malaysia.

Riyadh Police Investigation and Criminal Research Department Arrests Five People Suspected of Drug Trafficking

The Investigation and Criminal Research Department at Riyadh Police has arrested five citizens suspected of trafficking hashish and amphetamine.

The suspects were apprehended in possession of three firearms, live ammunition and a sum of money.

They were referred to the Public Prosecution for further action.
