Israeli occupation forces arrested, on Friday, the young man, Firas Naim Harb, from the village of Iskaka, east of Salfit.

The father of the young man, Naim Harb, said that the occupation forces arrested his son, Firas (27 years old), while he was passing on the main road near the northern entrance to Salfit.

Ithra Unveils Date of Tanween Creativity Conference

– The King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) announced the dates of the seventh annual Tanween creativity conference, which will take place October 31 to November 6 under the theme “Fail Forward.” The conference will be held at the Ithra Center in Dhahran and will feature 60 participants from around the world.

Ithra explained that this year’s conference will feature workshops, training sessions, exhibitions, and other events aimed at achieving tangible results in the field of design. It added that the conference seeks to change the perception of failure by making setbacks a natural part of the design process.

The conference also aims to embrace failure as part of the creative process, in which each experience offers lessons leading to innovative discoveries and valuable experiences that help the creative community continue to advance and turn challenges into opportunities for growth and success, Ithra said.

ich the Hajj experience through three main tracks: “Communication” to improve and develop guidance and direction services, “Waste Management” to reimagine the process during the Hajj season, and “Health” to find new ways to reduce pilgrims’ fatigue.

Seven civilians injured in Israeli aggression on central region

Seven civilians were injured Friday in an Israeli aggression that targeted a number of sites in the central region.

‘Nearly at 7.35 p.m. on Friday, the Israeli enemy launched an aerial aggression from the direction of north Lebanon, targeting a number of posts in the central region, meanwhile, the army air defense confronted the aggression and downed several missiles, a military source said.

The source added that the aggression left 7 civilians injured and caused material damages.

Mikdad and Araghchi : Pushing strategic relations between the two countries forwards into broader aspects

Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Fayssal Mikdad, made a telephone call with Mr. Abbas Araghchi, extending congratulations on appointing him as Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Minister Mikdad conveyed the greetings of President Bashar Al-Assad to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ali Khamenei, and to Mr. Masoud Pezeshkian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The two foreign ministers stressed the importance of pushing and strengthening the strategic relations forward between the two countries into broader perspective Mikdad stressed the importance of what the new Iranian leadership has emphasized regarding the tireless work to improve relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and neighboring countries.

The ministers agreed to continue coordinating the two countries’ stances on regional issues, including support for the Palestinian people in Gaza, the West Bank and Jerusalem. The two sides condemned genocide’s policy and crimes committed by the racist Zionist en
tity against the Palestinian people without any deterrent.

The two ministers also condemned Western policies, especially the US one in supporting Israeli crimes, its lack of seriousness in putting an end to these crimes, its disregard for the human and living suffering of the Palestinian people, in complete contradiction with the principles of international law and human rights, and the right of the Palestinian people to life, liberation, and the establishment of their independent state on their land.

Bahrain secures gold and bronze at Arab Esports League

Bahrain’s national esports team excelled at the Arab Esports League in Riyadh on 20-21 August.

Aisha Sami Bukhmas won gold in eFOOTBALL, defeating Jordan 2-0 in the final. Hashim Ahmed Khalil earned bronze in Tekken 8, finishing third in a competitive field.

The tournament included participants from 19 Arab countries.

KSrelief Distributes 800 Food Baskets in Sudan

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) on Wednesday distributed 800 food baskets in the Northern State of Sudan, benefiting 4,830 individuals from displaced and needy groups as part of the food-security support project in the Republic of Sudan for 2024.

The food aid comes within the framework of the humanitarian and relief efforts provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief to many affected countries and peoples worldwide.

Registration for Final Stage of Crown Prince Camel Festival to Open Tomorrow

The Organizing Committee of the Crown Prince Camel Festival announced the opening of online registration for camel owners to participate in the final stage rounds of the sixth phase of the festival.

The registration will be available August 24 to 30 through social-media sites on the platforms of the Saudi Camel Federation and the Organizing Committee.

The final stage will start September 1 with 250 rounds.

The preliminary phase concluded Wednesday with the participation of 2,282 camel owners from eight countries, with 11,219 camels. Local and international camel owners will compete for prizes that exceed SAR56 million.

Education Ministry opens registration for re-enrollments and foreign educational certificates

The Ministry of Education announced the commencement of accepting applications for the re-enrollment of students who have previously dropped out of school or those holding educational certificates from outside the Kingdom who wish to continue their education in Bahrain’s public schools.

The ministry will receive applications from August 25 to 29, 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at the Customer Service Center in the Ministry’s building in Isa Town.

The ministry urges guardians of those wishing to enroll to attend in person after filling out the student registration form available on the ministry’s website (www.moe.gov.bh) and bring the required documents listed there. The acceptance of students into schools is subject to the criteria of the student’s residential area and the school’s capacity.

Wadi Najran Overflows with Rainwater

Torrential rains in Najran region have led to sustained flooding in Wadi Najran. The floodwaters, originating from the Najran Dam and surrounding valleys and reefs, have continued to flow through the wadi for several days.

Wadi Najran is one of the largest valleys in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as it extends for 180 kilometers to the east, starting between the mountains in the far west of the city and ending in the sands of the Empty Quarter. Its average width in the plains is 1,000 meters, and its tributaries come from the Hijaz Mountains and the plateaus surrounding the region.

The flow of torrential rains in the valley through palm plantations and historic mud houses provides breathtaking landscapes that attract visitors to spend beautiful and enjoyable times with family and friends and take pictures of the place.
