Baghdad: Iraqi authorities announced that three security personnel were injured in an explosion inside a military base in northern Iraq.
According to Qatar News Agency, a security source stated that the incident occurred at dawn on Monday following the explosion of a mortar shell inside a military base housing army personnel in Salah Al-Din province.
The source added that the explosion resulted in injuries to three security personnel, one of whom is in critical condition. The injured were transferred to the hospital for treatment.
