Vanuatu: An earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale struck off the coast of Vanuatu on Tuesday.
According to Qatar News Agency, the US Geological Survey said that the earthquake occurred 159 km from the village of Sola, at a depth of 233 km.
Vanuatu, an archipelago of volcanic origin in the South Pacific Ocean, regularly experiences earthquakes and volcanic activity due to its location along the seismically active Pacific Ring of Fire.
