Doha: An earthquake measuring 4.9 on the Richter scale struck Lobuche district in northeastern Nepal on Thursday: The epicenter of the quake was at a depth of 10 kilometers, the US Geological Survey said in a statement.
According to Qatar News Agency, so far, there have been no reports of material or human damage from the quake.
An earthquake measuring 7.9 on the Richter scale struck the region in 2015, killing nearly 10,000 people.
