4th Arab Forum on Land and Climate Kicks Off in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt


Sharm el sheikh: The fourth edition of the Arab Forum on Land and Climate, themed “Land and Sea in Harmony: Pathways to the Blue Economy,” began Tuesday in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. The forum is a two-day event attended by around 70 participants and representatives from 23 international, regional, and national organizations.



According to Qatar News Agency, the forum is organized by the Arab Network for NGOs with support from the Arab Gulf Programme for Development (AGFUND), under the auspices of the League of Arab States, in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Arab Council for Childhood and Development.



The forum covers several key themes, including coastal resilience financing, sustainable fisheries, and culture, education, and identity, aiming to address significant issues related to land and climate in the Arab region.
