5.2-Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Morocco’s Ouezzane Province


Ouezzane: An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale struck Ouezzane Province in northern Morocco.



According to Qatar News Agency, the National Institute of Geophysics confirmed in a statement that the quake occurred at a depth of 20 km. No damage has been reported, according to the Moroccan news agency (MAP).



A 6.8-magnitude earthquake struck central Morocco in September 2023, killing more than 2,900 people.
