5 Dead in Cargo Plane Crash at Miami International Airport

Miami: Five people were killed and five others injured after an Amazon cargo plane overran a runway at Miami International Airport in the United States and crashed into several vehicles before catching fire, according to local authorities.

According to Qatar News Agency, during a briefing, Mayor of Miami-Dade County Daniella Levine Cava stated, "at least five people have lost their lives, and five others are injured," adding that rescue crews arrived at the scene of the accident within seconds of the crash.

Meanwhile, transportation authorities announced the suspension of air traffic at Miami International Airport as more than 60 firefighting units worked to extinguish the blaze.
