An earthquake measuring six magnitude on the Richter scale hit on Monday Northern Samar province in the Philippines. The earthquake occurred 430 km from the town of Pambujan, at a depth of 10 km, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology reported. There have been no reports of casualties or material damage due to the earthquake. The Philippines experiences high volcanic and seismic activity due to its location on the Ring of Fire of the Pacific Ocean. Source: Qatar News Agency
