Doha: The death toll from ongoing Israeli occupation airstrikes on Gaza Strip since early this morning has risen to around 80. According to local sources, 65 of those martyred were in Khan Younis alone, in southern part of the Strip.
According to Qatar News Agency, in a related development, the same sources reported that one Palestinian was martyred and others injured in an Israeli occupation airstrike on a home in Deir al-Balah. Israeli occupation artillery also shelled the area around Street 5, north of Khan Younis.
Earlier on Tuesday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that since the start of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023, the total number of casualties has reached 55,493 martyred and 129,320 wounded.
