Doha: Al Sadd secured a 4-2 comeback victory over UAE side Shabab Al Ahli in the AFC Champions League Elite group stage match played on Tuesday at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium, as part of Round 6 of the West Zone competition. With this win, Al Sadd moved up to five points in the table.
According to Qatar News Agency, Rafa Mujica scored a hat-trick for Al Sadd after coming on as a substitute, with goals in the 75th, 90+8th, and 90+10th minutes. Tareq Salman added another goal in the fifth minute of stoppage time. The Wolves managed to reverse the deficit after initially trailing 2-0 to Shabab Al Ahli, whose goals were scored by Federico Cartabia in the 47th minute and Yahya Al Ghassani in the 70th minute from a penalty kick.
