Al Raya Editorial Emphasizes Qatar’s Firm Rejection of Palestinian Displacement Attempts

Doha: Al Raya newspaper has underscored Qatar's firm rejection of settlement initiatives by the occupation authorities, emphasizing that a just and comprehensive resolution to the Palestinian issue is the sole path to ensuring regional security and stability. The editorial stressed the necessity for the Palestinian people to fully realize their inalienable rights.

According to Qatar News Agency, Al Raya highlighted that Israel's attempts to displace Palestinians have been exposed, and any recurrence of a Nakba will not be accepted, preventing Palestinians from being forced into global exile. The editorial revealed Israel's ongoing plans through its aggressive actions against Gaza and the empowerment of settler groups in the West Bank, aiming to terrorize Palestinians, confiscate their lands, and ruin their crops.

The editorial called for global intervention to halt what it described as the extreme criminality of the Israeli government, marked by killings, ethnic cleansing, starvation, and racist declarations advocating for the expulsion of Palestinians, all occurring in defiance of international legitimacy amid increasing global solidarity.

Al Raya further explained Qatar's denunciation of the Israeli prime minister's statements on displacing Palestinians, highlighting the continuation of policies that violate Palestinian rights and show disdain for international laws and agreements. The editorial pointed out that the Israeli government disregards diplomacy and international law, treating Palestinian rights with gang-like brutality and undermining prospects for peace or a two-state solution, including accelerated Judaization in Jerusalem.

The editorial concluded by emphasizing the urgent need for the international community to curtail this extremist government, isolate it, and expedite the recognition of the State of Palestine with East Jerusalem as its capital.
