Doha: The global rating agency AM Best has affirmed the Financial Strength Rating (FSR) of Qatar Islamic Insurance Group (QIIG) at A- (Excellent). In the same announcement, AM Best also affirmed the Long-Term Issuer Credit Rating (ICR) at A- (Excellent) for the Qatari public shareholding company, maintaining a stable outlook for both ratings.
According to Qatar News Agency, a statement from QIIG, published on the Qatar Stock Exchange website, emphasized that these ratings reflect the group's robust balance sheet, which AM Best evaluated as very strong. Additionally, the strength of QIIG's operating performance played a significant role in the affirmation of these ratings.
