Arab League Denounces Israeli Airstrike on Syrian Airbase

Cairo: The Arab League has condemned the Israeli strike on the Abu Al-Duhur airbase in Syria's Idlib province, labeling it a violation of Syrian sovereignty and international law. The League described the attack as another escalation in Israel's repeated actions against Syria and other nations in the region.

According to Qatar News Agency, Arab League Secretary-General Nabil Fahmy issued a statement criticizing the Israeli attacks as provocative and unjustified. Fahmy accused Israel of attempting to spread chaos and expand conflict zones in Syria and Lebanon to serve its prime minister's political interests, disregarding regional security and stability.

He urged the international community and the UN Security Council to fulfill their responsibilities by pressing Israel to stop these attacks. Fahmy warned that continued escalation might lead to further chaos and violence in the region.
