Arab Parliament Honors GCC Secretary-General

The Arab Parliament honored the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, in recognition of his efforts in promoting the Arab-GCC joint action system in various fields. This took place on the sidelines of the Secretary-General's participation in the Fifth Plenary Meeting of the Fourth Session of the Third Legislative Term of the Arab Parliament, held at the headquarters of the League of Arab States. Albudaiwi received the shield of the Arab Parliament on this occasion from the Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Adel bin Abdulrahman Al Asoumi. The Arab Parliament also awarded the Speaker of the Jordanian Senate, Faisal Al Fayez, the Arab Excellence Medal in recognition of his efforts in serving Arab causes and his endeavors to achieve the aspirations of his people and nation.
